When is making an extra $100,000 bad for your business?

This is a very interesting question, isn’t it?
How could making an extra $100,000 NOT be something that’s GREAT for your business?
Whether you’re just starting out, or you’ve been around for a few years, if you are NOT already making money on a CONSISTENT basis, every single day, and every single week, and every single month, making an extra $100,000 can actually HURT your business.
I’ve seen it happen over and over and over again …
Especially with those putting out their first products.
You get a big chunk of cash that comes in, so you sit back and think “Ahhh, this is the life!” And after a few weeks, you decide, “Well, I can get back to work next month. I’ve got enough money to last at least until then.”
Then the next month you sit back and say, “That 4 weeks off felt SO good! But now I need another month to get myself prepared to go back to work.” So you take another month off.
Well, before you know it, you’re down to your last $5,000 and you haven’t even come up with the next idea for the next product, much less actually started working on the product itself.
On the other hand, there’s the person who has been plodding along in their business, and finally makes the first $10 sale. Their goal is to make $10,000. But they know that to make that $10,000, all it will take is:
- 10 sales at $1,000
- 20 sales at $500
- 51 sales at $197
- 103 sales at $97
- 212 sales at $47
- 1,000 sales at $10
When you look at it this way, it’s very achievable!
When you know how to make $10, you really already know how to make $100 — just do what you’ve already done 10 times!
If you know how to make $100, you already know how to make $1,000. Just do that same exact thing 10 times!
Do you see my point here?
When you know how to make SOME money, then just put together a string of actions to make that money over and over again.
Your goal should be to CONSISTENTLY make money. Not necessarily big money, just SOME money. But it’s the CONSISTENCY that’s critical here.
You don’t want to end up like the product creator in my first example who ends up defeated — in spite of having a fairly successful promotion that brought in 6 figures.
If you can’t make money CONSISTENTLY, then you’ll end up out of business after a period of time!
I don’t care WHAT business you’re in …
You’re in business to make money. That’s the bottom line.
And in EVERY business, that money has to come in consistently or you might as well go and get a J.O.B. [Just Over Broke] working for someone else. It’s that simple.
If you’re having a hard time coming up with ideas for how to make money consistently, I strongly recommend the new book by Willie Crawford, “20 Ways to Make $100 Per Day”.
This book was written by 20 different authors, many of them my friends like Case Stevens, Paul Myers, Willie, himself, and many others who have “been there and done that”, so to speak.
The book provides step-by-step instructions for implementing all 20 killer ways of making $100 per day CONSISTENTLY.
If you’re not making money on a consistent basis right now, you’ve got to get your hands on this book at:
And, let me know if you come up with any other ways to make just $100 per day by leaving a comment on my blog.
Here’s to a $3,000 month! (That’s $100 per day each day for 30 days, in case you didn’t catch it.)
To Your Abundant, CONSISTENT, Success!
