I’ll bet you didn’t know that there is ONE thing that can improve your business more than any other, did you?
Do you know what that ONE thing is?
Let me give you a few hints and see if you can guess …
HINT #1: That ONE thing is responsible for Louis Burleson’s success. He went from struggling in his business to make $500 per month to launching his very firist product successfully, bringing in over $50,000 in a single week, in only about 7 months time … all because of this ONE thing!
HINT #2: That ONE thing is responsible for Jeff Dedrick’s success online. Jeff was a very successful offline entrepreneur who decided to sell both of his gyms and his pizza business to strike out online. This ONE thing allowed Jeff to launch his very first product, bringing in over $40,000 in monthly income, in less than 3 months!
HINT #3: That ONE thing is responsible for the success of more people online than any other!
Are you stumped yet?
Am I going to have to just tell you the answer?
Ok, I give in …
That ONE thing is Live Events!
In fact, that’s the entire reason that I recently held my very first seminar with my partners, Henry Gold and Socrates Socratous, in Sandusky, Ohio. Here’s the 3 of us at one of our many networking parties that I threw for the 130+ people who attended.

The key to using a seminar to build your business is to focus on the networking. Sure, the information that the speakers provide from the stage is beneficial. But you can buy a DVD to get that education!
What you can NOT get elsewhere is the contacts! The people and the relationships are SO important to your overall success!
I can sit here and preach this to you all day long for a week, and until you attend your first event, you just won’t understand the power that solid relationships will have in your business.
One of the best seminars of the year for building these relationships is JVAlert Live! This is one of the absolute “must attend” events of the year. I have been to all but 2 of the JVAlert Live events and I make an effort to get to every single one if at all possible.
I just looked at my list of JV Partners, and better than 1/2 of them are people that I have built relationships with through JVAlert LIVE. I can’t even imagine how much money I’ve personally made over the years as a direct result of having built these relationships through JVAlert LIVE. (And that doesn’t even take into account how much my clients made on top of that!)
The next JVAlert LIVE is coming up in only a few weeks in beautiful Long Beach, CA. As usual, Ken McArthur has a special early bird rate on his tickets.
But, if you hurry, you can even get a taste of what it’s like to attend JVAlert LIVE without having to leave your office!
You see, tonight, Ken is hosting a JVAlert LIVE Reunion via a webinar. He’s asked past speakers and panelists like me and some of my other friends to return to the group to answer some questions on a Live Call. Since I’ll be one of the panelists on tonight’s call, I got Ken to let me invite my readers as well!
So if you’re interested in joining us for tonight’s Webinar, here are the details:
WHEN: Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007
TIME: 10:00 pm EST / 7:00 pm PST
WHERE: Details are at http://www.askggg.com/reunion
Here’s just a few of the people who will be joining us tonight:
Frank Sousa, Ross Goldberg, Sid Hale, Declan Dunn, Willie Crawford, Ben Mack, Frank Rumbauskas, Donna Fox, Alan Bechtold, and Heather Vale
Why would you want to be there?
Well, quite honestly, it will give you a great opportunity to see why I consider this to be one of the best events of the year! On top of that, you’ll have an opportunity to ask any question you want of any of the experts on the panel.
Remember, all the details are at:
I hope to hear from you on the webinar! Make sure to get your questions ready! It’s sure to be great fun!

Gina… that was a great post! Networking is so important in every aspect of life, not just in business.
Going to events obviously is the best way to create networks but sometimes, for lots of legitimate reasons, we can’t attend events. That doesn’t mean networking is out of question — the Internet provides an incredible vehicle to network with thousands of people that you would not normally meet. Even if they aren’t the bigname highfliers that attend events and keynote speakers, they will be people with lots of ideas, lots of enthusiasm and lots of skill.
Networking can be an understated resource — and one that many people are unsure how to utilise effectively.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom week after week — I enjoy receiving your e-mails and information.
Warm wishes

Hi Mary:
No, it’s not all about ebooks at all. In fact, ebooks are best used when they are a vehicle to selling something ELSE. Let me tell you what I mean by that …
What you want to do is to find a target market that you are interested in, and then determine what people are already BUYING in that market. This can be physical products, digital products, services, etc.
Then you want to put together an entire “sales funnel” of about 25 or so products that go from lower prices to higher prices, that would be of interest to people in that target market. Ebooks should definitely be included in this product mix.
Why do you include ebooks?
Well, for several different reasons:
1) You can sell low priced ebooks as a way to generate prospects and build a list
2) Within the ebook, you can educate the target market about a problem that your other products solve and then go on to show them the solution by giving them links to your products
3) Ebooks are a fantastic way to build your credibility within your market
Now, if you’ve already found some products that you want to sell, then ask yourself one question:
“Are these products that people are already buying? And, do these products solve a problem or fill an emotionally compelling need for these buyers?”
If these products are NOT already being purchased by your target market, then you may have to include an ebook just to educate your market. And, if the products solve a problem or fill an emotionally compelling need for your market, then simply create an ebook that educates them about the problem or need and then show them the solution!
Remember one thing:
It is NOT about selling a single product!
It IS about building a BUSINESS!
Businesses are built by maximizing the long term value of a customer and NOT by bringing in all the money on the very first sale!
In fact, most businesses actually lose money on the first sale (both online and offline). They can afford to do this because they have full sales funnels that sell people products over and over again over time.
A great report to understand this better is at:
http://www.askggg.com/myth
It’s a free report and it might give you some great ideas about how you can build your business as well.
I hope this helps!

Great post Gina.
I hope you don’t mind, but I took the core concept and created a tip (in your name) for Daily Marketing Ace. Full attribution was provided, of course

Hi Gina,
I’d love to get on some of your calls but I’m currently living between New Zealand and Australia and the time differences put us anywhere from 15 to 18 hours ahead of you - which means they’re in the early hours the morning or the middle of the night. Can you accomodate us please?
Regards,
Mary
